In 2021, we are offering funding through a Targeted Small Grants Program (TSG Program). At least $4 million is available for grants for innovative fresh food retail and food system enterprises that seek to improve access to healthy food in underserved areas.
More information about the program, including eligibility criteria, is described in the Request for Applications (RFA). The RFA explains the process for applying to this grant, and lists all of the application questions applicants will need to answer. Please download and read the RFA before applying.

The first phase of applying to this grant is to submit an LOI. The LOI submission includes applicant information, project location(s), grant budget request, and a brief project summary describing the community needs, project team background, proposed project and business model, and project timeline.
Reinvestment Fund will review all LOIs to determine if the proposed project is eligible for the program. Eligible projects will be invited to submit a full application.
LOIs must be submitted through Reinvestment Fund’s online grants portal. Click “apply now” to access the online grants portal. Eligible applicants will be invited through the online grants portal to submit their application through the portal.
